Miami Bethany Community Services is well aware of the need our children and youth have in regards to educational high-quality programs while out-of-school. For that reason, Bethany BEST was created.
B.E.S.T. which stands for Better Educated Students for Tomorrow is a program dedicated to providing educational and recreational activities such as reading, math, physical education, life skills, and field trips to children and youth during the summer and after school.
Over 4,000 kids and youth have been served over a period of 14 years.
Though its YEAH (Youth Encountering Action and Hope) component, Miami Bethany targets at-risk low-income community youth.
This program offers conferences, seminaries, and activities that encourage the youth to be aware and prevent juvenile delinquency, dropping out of school, substance abuse, and more.
This programs serves youth ages 12 to 18.
BJAO seeks to address the lack of fine arts programming available to low-income children and youth in Miami Dade.
All participants receive high-quality music instruction with well qualify music teachers.
Through this program, Miami Bethany provides instruction in music theory and performance of classical music.
By hosting the Thanksgiving Community Celebration, Miami Bethany has served over 48,000 low-income families.
Community volunteers get together and dedicate time and strength to serve those in need.
Each Thanksgiving bag contains the allegorical items for the festivities so each family could enjoy a nice dinner with their loved ones.
